Enderun Senior High School students performed above MAP Growth national benchmarks in key areas of reading and mathematics. The results show students developing the comprehension, vocabulary, quantitative reasoning, and problem-solving skills needed for demanding university work.
Enderun students outperformed the national average in MAP Growth
Grade 11 students showed strength across informational and literary reading, vocabulary, algebraic thinking, geometry, statistics and probability, and number systems. Several students also performed at exceptionally high percentile levels.
Grade 12 students sustained strong mathematical achievement at the point when university readiness matters most.
MAP Growth helps educators understand achievement, monitor growth over time, and identify where students need greater challenge or targeted support. At Enderun, assessment supports better instruction. It also gives families a clearer view of student readiness.

For students ready to go beyond the standard curriculum, Enderun offers an Honors-to-Advanced Placement pathway. Students first demonstrate the academic performance, discipline, intellectual maturity, and readiness required for college-level work. AP then gives qualified students the opportunity to take on a deeper and more demanding academic challenge while still in senior high school.

Why AP Matters
Advance Placement courses ask students to read more deeply, think more critically, write with greater precision, solve more complex problems, and take greater ownership of their learning. Depending on the policies of the university, qualifying AP scores may lead to college credit, advanced placement, or both. Two Schools. Two Cultures. One Shared Learning Experience.
Enderun Colleges Senior High School and Mikunigaoka High School in Osaka, Japan bring Filipino and Japanese students together through collaborative learning, cultural exchange, and real-world problem solving.
Students do more than visit another school. They work in cross-cultural teams, exchange perspectives, develop and refine business ideas, present proposals, and respond to questions. Through these experiences, students learn how to communicate across cultures, contribute to international teams, and approach unfamiliar situations with confidence.
Global Learning Through Real Work
The partnership has included business planning, presentations, community-based learning, and exposure to social and economic issues in the Philippines. These activities turn concepts such as entrepreneurship, sustainability, and social value into questions students can examine together.
A Partnership Built to Grow
After years of student and academic collaboration, Mikunigaoka and Enderun formalized a sister-school agreement in 2025. The partnership reflects a shared belief: students become better leaders when they learn to understand, collaborate with, and learn from people whose experiences differ from their own.

Senior High School Principal
Cherry May Lim is the Principal of Enderun Senior High School. She brings extensive experience in teaching, curriculum development, faculty mentoring, and academic leadership across international schools in Manila. She holds a Master of Science in Multidisciplinary Studies from SUNY Buffalo State and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, with a minor in Chinese Studies, from Ateneo de Manila University. She also completed a Professional Teaching Certificate from the University of the Philippines Open University. Her background includes teaching English literature, language, research methods, and information literacy. She has also received professional training in Advanced Placement Research, AP English Literature and Composition, and International Baccalaureate Language and Literature.

Florence Lakip leads the Languages, Physical Education and General Education Electives section. She holds a Master of Arts in Education, major in Language Education, and a Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in English and minor in Filipino, from the University of the Philippines Diliman. She graduated cum laude and received the College of Education’s Academic Excellence Award. A licensed professional teacher, Lakip has taught at Enderun Colleges since 2009, handling courses such as Purposive Communication, Literature, and Advanced English. Her work focuses on clear communication, student confidence, and learning environments that support both independence and growth.

Katrina Cruz-Wettey brings practical business experience into her classes in Research and Business. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of the Philippines Diliman and has worked across sales, marketing, operations, client relations, and business development. Her professional experience includes leadership in an agricultural business, where she helped build accounts, improve record-keeping, and streamline operating processes. She has also taught Entrepreneurship and Personal Development at the senior high school level. Her background in writing, performance, and applied improvisation further supports an engaging classroom approach built around clear thinking, collaboration, and confident communication.

Juliana Que is a licensed professional teacher who specializes in Mathematics and Calculus. She earned a Bachelor of Education in Mathematics Teacher Education from De La Salle University and has pursued a Master of Education in Mathematics at the same institution. Her experience as a high school mathematics teacher includes instruction in algebra, geometry, and statistics, along with lesson planning, student progress monitoring, and mathematics club supervision. She also uses technology and digital resources to make mathematical ideas easier to explore. Her classroom approach combines clear instruction with close support, helping students build both technical skill and confidence in solving complex problems.

Paul Correa teaches Economics, Social Sciences and Humanities with a background that connects business, philosophy, theology, and public affairs. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, major in Management of Financial Institutions, from De La Salle University Manila. He later pursued further studies in philosophy and systematic theology at San Carlos Seminary. An Enderun Senior High School faculty member since 2019, he has also completed Advanced Placement training in U.S. Government and Politics and Comparative Government and Politics. His academic and professional experience gives students a wider framework for examining institutions, markets, society, and human decision-making.

His career has included faculty and leadership roles in several schools, including service as a Filipino faculty member at Enderun Colleges and as a subject group head in a senior high school department. Alexandra Rabaya connects Business and Humanities with current professional practice. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Enderun Colleges, graduating cum laude and receiving both the Leadership Program Award and the SOCD Young Innovator Award. Her experience at JPMorgan Chase includes control testing, risk and issue management, process mapping, data analysis, automation initiatives, and work with teams across the Asia-Pacific region. This foundation allows her to show students how analytical thinking, ethics, communication, and sound judgment operate inside complex organizations. Her classes help learners see business not only as a system of numbers, but also as a field shaped by people, decisions, and responsibility.

Ronan Santos is a results-driven professional holding a B.S. Computer Science graduate from the University of the East-Manila, Philippines and an MBA from the Eastern Mediterranean University in North Cyprus, Turkey. A licensed teacher, he completed all academic requirements (excluding dissertation) for Ed.D. in Educational Administration at Far Eastern University, Manila. Ronan adeptly operates and manages his online travel agency business, I Remain Travels and Tours, showcasing his entrepreneurial skills. Additionally, Ronan serves as a freelance research consultant and statistician to both professionals and graduate students. With a penchant for academia, he has published and presented research papers both locally and internationally, leveraging his expertise to teach Statistics, Econometrics, Research courses, SHS-ABM subjects, and AP Capstone Program at Enderun.

Jean-Paul Mitima Zagabe, often known as JP, is a multifaceted professional with an array of roles including author, leader, poet, linguist, researcher, teacher, trainer, and translator. Currently, he imparts his knowledge by teaching Philosophy in Enderun Senior High School and Ethics and French at Enderun Colleges. Hailing from Congo, JP brings a rich cultural perspective to his teaching and writing. JP's academic achievements are impressive, with a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from La Ruzizi, DRC, a Master's degree in Language and Literacy Education from UPOU, and a PhD in Development Studies from DLSU. His contributions to academia extend beyond teaching. He has published a book on climate change in France and a scholarly study on call center employees, highlighting his diverse research interests. JP has also presented his research at international conferences, further establishing his presence in the academic world. His unique blend of experiences and skills makes him a highly respected figure in his field.

Ms. Ainah Corina Dimasacat graduated cum laude from the University of the Philippines Diliman with a Bachelor of Arts in Malikhaing Pagsulat sa Filipino. She obtained her teacher certification from the University of Santo Tomas and successfully passed the licensure exam. With teaching experience since 2016, she has also worked as a freelance storyteller, academic tutor, and language/content editor for educational technology materials. Ms. Dimasacat has accumulated 190 hours of technical training in education, community development, qualitative research, and cultural studies. She also has several journal publications in the field of educational research. Currently pursuing a master's degree in language education at Philippine Normal University Manila, she remains committed to continuous professional development and staying updated in the field of education.
