1. What is the Enderun Badge System?

2. What is a badge?
A badge is a digital icon that can be uploaded in websites and social media platforms, and on web-based documents such as a resume, representing a completion of a task or achievement of a quality or skill. As such, a digital badge is a most useful hyperlink to relevant information on the competence represented by the badge: a description of the accomplishment being cited, the date and conferrer, as well as a host of curated artefacts such as the bearer’s actual output or video while performing a relevant task.
3. Who can avail of the Enderun digital badges?
All degree program students of Enderun Colleges are eligible to take any of the Enderun badges from their freshman year until graduation. Enderun, as an academic institution in both higher and continuing education, primarily issues digital icons. To further expand the portfolio of the badges program, Enderun has partnered with other institutions and industry experts that are known to specialize in other tracks, such as Ecole Ducasse, FoodShap, Microsoft, CIsco, AWS, Nadpop, Philippine Mice Academy, Project Management Institute, WSET, and UX Design Institute. The logo and credentials of these esteemed partners appear on the digital icons of their respective courses.
7. What are some of the tracks available for the badges?
Enderun maintains badge programs that will benefit the students of the different degree course offerings of the school. Such fields include culinary arts, hospitality, food and beverage, business and entrepreneurship, technology management, and UX design. These programs prepare future graduates of credentials that employers will find useful for the new world of work both locally and globally. Enderun badge programs can be done synchronously and asynchronously by Enderun and partner instructors via online and face-to-face interactions depending on the subject and academic partner. It may also include exams, submission of projects, or a work portfolio.
9. How can students avail of the Enderun badges?
Students taking college subjects with badge assessments may enlist their college subjects through their specific departments during the enrollment period. Students will be provided a list of badges available for the semester.
10. Will digital badges have added costs to regular tuition?
There is a separate fee for the digital badges aside from the course subject. However, the cost more than covers the benefits that students will reap for their credentials..
