Global Certificate in Saemaul Undong and International COmmunity Development

Enderun Extension’s Global Certificate in Saemaul Undong and International Community Development aims to groom local government workers, social entrepreneurs, and even high school students who will be the nation’s future leaders.

The program will focus on leadership and management using the Saemaul Undong paradigm, poverty alleviation, social welfare and social entrepreneurship. Upon completing the certificate program, students will develop the essential knowledge of International Community Development (ICD), which is in demand for project managers and executive directors of various non-profit organizations and global institutions such as United Nations and World Bank.

BS in Economics with specialization in Saemaul Undong and International Community Development *

Enderun Colleges is the first institution to offer a Saemaul Undong specialised degree in the Philippines. This four-year bachelor’s degree aims to produce leaders who will embody the three doctrines of Saemaul Undong: diligence, self-help, and cooperation, in order to globalize the nation and reduce poverty through livelihood enhancement and social cooperation. It covers the development of the Saemaul Undong model, its success factors, and how it can be applied on Philippine context in reference to South Korea’s perspective.
