Enderun Colleges, committed to upholding international standards of academic excellence, recently welcomed three business leaders to augment its College of Business and Entrepreneurship faculty, who provide real-world context in their instruction and training. Ms. Liza Robinson Ms. Liza Robinson teaches Basic Finance at Enderun. She finished her BS in Management Engineering, magna cum laude, from Ateneo de Manila University, and her MBA, with distinction, from the London Business School. She worked in Lehman Brothers in London, first at the Investment Banking Division, then at Graduate Recruiting and Programs for Europe and Middle East where she was chief administrative officer. While at London Business School, she also did marketing consultancy work for UK brands Dorling Kindersley and Land Rover. Ms. Robinson is also an entrepreneur, having started a children’s furniture and accessories business called Two Tots Home Accessories, Inc. Dr. Gert Gust Mr. Gert A. Gust, Dr.iur.DDE teaches Principles of Management. A German national, he studied Law and Economics at the Universities of Hamburg, Berne, and Cambridge. In his 40-year professional career, he held positions of responsibility in international banking and business, the International Civil Service, postgraduate teaching, and in NGO work. During his service of three decades with the International Labor Organization (ILO) he held such field assignments as deputy director of the office for West Africa in Lagos, as regional program officer/economic analyst at the office for Asia and the Pacific in Bangkok, as director and liaison officer with the ADB at the Manila office as well as director of the Beijing office for China and Mongolia; at ILO HQ in Geneva he was, inter alia, head of the office of the deputy director-general for technical and field programs, chief of personnel for expert services and director of the International Program on the Elimination of Child Labor (IPEC). A resident of the Philippines since the late 1990s, he worked as professor for international labor law and economics at the University of the Philippines School of Labor and Industrial Relations (UP SOLAIR) and as consultant to governments, employers’ and workers’ organizations. He is president of the ILO Association of the Philippines, an NGO promoting ILO principles of decent work. Mr. Karthikeyan Subburaman Mr. Karthikeyan Subburaman, who teaches Total Quality Management, finished his Bachelor of Technology in Chemical and Electrochemical Engineering from the Central Electrochemical Research Institute in Tamil Nadu, India, and his MS in Materials Science and Engineering from State University of New York. In the Philippine office of training and business consulting firm ECC International, he was consecutively research and development manager, senior manager for customer solutions and relations management, deputy country manager, and presently, country manager. Mr. Subburaman is a Six Sigma Black Belt (SSBB), and is a certified eLearning and New Technologies Expert from Tele Akademie in Germany. |
