Scholarships and Grants

Enderun's campus facilities feature hotel-quality appointments and integrated cutting-edge learning technologies that are in a class of their own.

Scholarships and grants, are available to qualified applicants who exhibit exceptional qualities, such as excellent academic strengths and skills, high level of maturity, strong leadership potential, interpersonal skills and high motivation to succeed.

  1. Enderun Academic Scholarships
    1. 100%
    2. 50%

    Background

    All students are eligible to compete for the 100% and 50% Enderun Academic Scholarships awarded each school year. The 100% and 50% Enderun Academic Scholarships are awarded to Enderun students with the highest and second highest yearly GPA(s) in the batch at the end of each school year. The scholarship is open to all freshmen, sophomore, and junior students.

    Incoming freshmen may also be granted the Enderun Academic Scholarships should they graduate as Valedictorian (100%) or Salutatorian (50%) of their high school batch.

    Criteria to Qualify

    The Enderun Academic Scholarships is awarded by the Academic Affairs department and the Scholarship Committee to the following at the end of each school year:

    • Enderun student with the highest GPA in the batch (100% Scholarship).
    • Enderun student with the second highest GPA in the batch (50% Scholarship).
    • Incoming freshmen who graduated Valedictorian (100% Scholarship) or Salutatorian (50% Scholarship) from top-ranked high schools.

    Conditions to Maintain Scholarship

    All Enderun Academic Scholarships are subject to the following conditions. Non-compliance with the scholarship standards will mean forfeiture of the scholarship:

    • For freshmen, sophomore and junior students, scholarships are renewable every year, as long as the scholar maintains his or her rank in the batch; for an incoming freshman, the Enderun Academic Scholarship is granted on the first year, and is renewable every year for up to three (3) more years, regardless of rank in the batch.
    • Must comply with Enderun policies or regulations and Code of Discipline.
    • Must behave like an Enderun ambassador in compliance with the Code at all times. Behavior unbecoming of a scholar may result to immediate forfeiture of the scholarship grant.
    • Must maintain a weighted GPA of at least 1.75 each semester.
    • Must not have a grade lower than 3.0 in any subject, or obtain an incomplete mark due to absences or course drops.
    • Must be a full-time undergraduate student of Enderun Colleges (no under load).
    • Must be an active member of at least one Registered Student Organization (RSO).
    • Must render 180 hours (10 hours per week) of service per semester as a token of giving back to the College. Service may include peer tutorials or special projects assigned by the Scholarship Committee.

    Application For Incoming Freshmen

    The Scholarship Application forms can be obtained online or from one of our Admissions Executives. Please submit completed application form and requirements, an essay "Why I deserve a scholarship" (300 words or less), two (2) academic references from your high school teacher and guidance counselor, one (1) 2x2 photo, and parents' ITR (if applying for financial aid).

    Application and complete supporting documents must be submitted to our Admissions Executive on or before 16 January 2015.

    Application For Continuing Students

    Continuing students need not apply. Academic Affairs and the Scholarship Committee shall notify qualified Enderun students at the end of each school year, after the official grades have been tallied. Qualified freshmen, sophomore, and junior students shall receive 100% or 50% deduction in the following school year's tuition and the following deduction in miscellaneous fees.

    1. Dr. Lorraine F. Villanueva Grant

      Background

      The Dr. Lorraine F. Villanueva Grant was created in memory of Enderun Colleges' beloved Founding Dean. It is given to the most deserving International Hospitality Management freshman applicant, who is in need of financial assistance.

      The grant consists of 100% tuition subsidy, renewable every year, for up to four (4) years.

      Criteria to Qualify

      The Dr. Lorraine F. Villanueva Scholarship recipient must show a commitment to academic excellence, passion to succeed in the hospitality industry, and excellent leadership qualities. The five (5) criteria for selection are:

      • Highest scholastic performance in overall studies (Valedictorian or Salutatorian of the high school batch).
      • Exhibits leadership potential.
      • Actively participates in extra and co-curricular activities, particularly in community service-oriented activities.
      • Passionate about a successful career in the hospitality industry.
      • Needs financial assistance.

      Conditions to Maintain Grant

      The grant is renewable every year. Non-compliance with the scholarship standards will mean forfeiture of the grant:

      • Must comply with Enderun policies or regulations and Code of Discipline.
      • Must behave like an Enderun ambassador in compliance with the Code at all times. Behavior unbecoming of a scholar may result to immediate forfeiture of the scholarship grant.
      • Must maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 1.50 or higher (Dean's List).
      • Must not have a grade lower than 3.0 in any subject.
      • Must be a full-time undergraduate student of Enderun Colleges in BS-IHM (no under load).
      • Must prove actual leadership role(s) within each semester.
      • Must be an active member of at least one Registered Student Organization (RSO).
      • Must render 10 hours a week of special projects assigned by the Hotel Administration department.
      • Yearly proof of family income (ITR and Statement of Assets and Liabilities).

      Announcement of Grant

      The recipients of the Dr. Lorraine F. Villanueva grant will be announced by May 2015 or upon acceptance at Enderun Colleges. A notification will be sent to the scholarship grant recipient.

    2. Enderun Founders Grant

      Background

      The Enderun Founders Grant was created out of the generosity of the Enderun founders to help the most deserving applicant with great need of financial assistance.

      The grant consists of 10% to 30% tuition subsidy, renewable every year, for up to four (4) years.

      Criteria to Qualify

      The Enderun Founders Grant recipient must show a commitment to academic excellence, passion to succeed in the industry, and excellent leadership qualities. The criteria for selection are:

      • Proof of financial need (ITR and Statement of Assets and Liabilities).
      • Excellent academic standing.

      Conditions to Maintain Grant

      The grant is renewable every year. Non-compliance with the scholarship standards will mean forfeiture of the grant:

      • Must comply with Enderun policies or regulations and Code of Discipline.
      • Must behave like an Enderun ambassador in compliance with the Code at all times. Behavior unbecoming of a scholar may result to immediate forfeiture of the scholarship grant.

    3. Nick and Rosa Kwon Grant

      Background

      The Nick and Rosa Kwon Grant is given in exchange for services rendered by Korean Community Leader, Ms. Rosa Kwon, also Enderun's Senior Academic and Student Services Adviser. It is given to the most deserving BS-IHM, BSBA, or BSE Korean freshman applicant, who is in need of financial assistance.

      Criteria to Qualify

      The Nick and Rosa Kwon Grant recipient must show a commitment to academic excellence and passion to succeed in his or her chosen career. The four (4) criteria for selection are:

      • Korean citizenship.
      • Excellent academic performance.
      • Active participation in extra and co-curricular activities.
      • Need for financial assistance.

      Conditions to Maintain Grant

      The grant is renewable every year. Non-compliance with the scholarship standards will mean forfeiture of the grant:

      • Must comply with Enderun policies or regulations and Code of Discipline.
      • Must behave like an Enderun ambassador in compliance with the Code at all times. Behavior unbecoming of a scholar may result to immediate forfeiture of the scholarship grant.
      • Must maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0 or higher.

      Available Grants

      The Nick and Rosa Kwon grants are exclusive for Korean students. The grant ranges from 10% to 40% off the tuition per year, (not exceeding 100% total grants per year) renewable every year for up to four (4) years.

      Application For Incoming Freshmen

      The Nick and Rosa Kwon grant application forms can be obtained online or from one of our Admissions Executives. Completed application forms are to be submitted with requirements: two essays on "Why I deserve a scholarship" (300 words or less), two (2) academic references from high school teacher and guidance counselor, one (1) 2x2 photo, and parents' ITR.

      Interview

      The Scholarship Committee and Ms. Rosa Kwon, may request an interview as part of the final selection process.

      Announcement of Grants

      The recipients of the Nick and Rosa Kwon grant will be announced by May 2015 or upon acceptance at Enderun Colleges. A notification will be sent to the scholarship grant recipient.

    4. Korean High School and College Friendship Grants

      Background

      The Korean High School and College Friendship Grants are offered to chosen high schools and colleges in Korea through their school principals or presidents. The agreement states that upon recommendation of the principal or president of the Korean high school or college, Enderun conditionally accepts up to 10 students from their school who are amongst the top 20% of their graduating batch. Enderun also grants PhP25,000 per semester per student applied to tuition for up to two semesters of the first academic year. This grant is open to BS-IHM with specialization in Hotel Administration, BSBA, and BSE Korean applicants.

      Currently, we have friendship agreements with the following high schools and colleges:

      • Younghwa Women's High School
      • Semin High School
      • AnUi High School
      • Seoul Tourism High School
      • Yeungnam University
      • Hoseo College

      Criteria to Qualify

      The Korean High School and College Friendship Grant recipient must show a commitment to academic excellence and passion to succeed in his or her chosen career. The three (3) criteria for selection are:

      • Must be recommended by the principal or president of the pre-approved Korean high school or college.
      • Excellent leadership and academic performance.
      • Active participation in extra and co-curricular activities.

      Conditions to Maintain Grant

      The grant is renewable after the first semester, for up to two semesters of the first academic year. Non-compliance with the scholarship standards will mean forfeiture of the grant:

      • Must comply with Enderun policies or regulations and Code of Discipline.
      • Must behave like an Enderun ambassador in compliance with the Code at all times. Behavior unbecoming of a scholar may result to immediate forfeiture of the scholarship grant.
      • Must maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0 or higher.
      • Must not have a grade lower than 3.0 in any subject.
      • Must be an active member of at least one Registered Student Organization (RSO).

      Application For Incoming Freshmen

      The principal or president of Korean high schools and colleges offer The Korean High School and College Friendship Grant to its top 20% graduating batch. The principal or president sends a written recommendation to Enderun, together with the following requirements:

      • Completed application form.
      • Form 138 (photocopy of senior report card).
      • Form 137 (transcript of records; 1st and 2nd year of high school).
      • Copy of Curriculum Vitae.
      • Essay (300 words or less).
      • Two 1.5"x 1" photos.

      Application and complete supporting documents must be submitted to our Admissions Executive on or before 16 January 2015.

      Interview

      The Scholarship Committee may request an interview as part of the final selection process.

      Announcement of Grants

      The recipients of the Korean High School and College Friendship grant will be announced by May 2015, or upon acceptance at Enderun Colleges. A notification will be sent to the recipient.

    5. Named Industry Partner Grant

      Named Industry Partner grants may be awarded as they are formalized with specific companies or individuals who wish to contribute to the scholarship fund.

      1. Ricardo C. Delgado Entrepreneurship Scholarship Grant

        Background

        Enderun's Scholarship Committee makes the Ricardo C. Delgado Scholarship Grant available to underprivileged, yet deserving students in the BSE programs. The grant ranges from 10% to 20% off the tuition per year, renewable every year for up to four (4) years. Recipients of the grant must show a strong commitment to academic excellence and an enthusiastic attitude towards career development.

        Criteria to Qualify

        Ricardo C. Delgado Scholarship Grant recipients must show a strong commitment to academic excellence and an enthusiastic attitude towards career development. The four criteria for selection are:

        • High scholastic performance in overall studies (top 25% of the batch).
        • Leadership and organizational skills.
        • High potential to succeed in their chosen careers.
        • In need of financial assistance.

      3. Mercy Tuason – Bea Zobel Scholarship Grant

        Background

        Enderun's Scholarship Committee makes the Mercy Tuason – Bea Zobel Scholarship Grant available to highly deserving students from the top 10 percentile of high school graduating batch of top Philippine high schools (as ranked by DepEd). This scholarship means that 100% will be deducted from annual total tuition fee and 75% deduction on miscellaneous fees renewable every year for up to four (4) years. Recipients of the grant must show a high interest and potential to succeed in the hospitality industry.

        Criteria to Qualify

        Mercy Tuason – Bea Zobel Scholarship Grant recipients must show a high interest and potential to succeed in the hospitality industry. The four criteria for selection are:

        • Belongs to the Top 10 percentile of high school graduating batch of top Philippine high schools (as ranked by DepEd).
        • Leadership potential; active in extra-curricular activities.
        • High potential to succeed in the hospitality industry.
        • Annual combined family income of potential scholar should not exceed PhP1.5M.
        • Philippine Nationality.

        Conditions to Maintain Grant

        The grant is renewable every year. Non-compliance with the scholarship standards will mean forfeiture of the grant:

        • Maintain an annual GPA of 1.75
        • No disciplinary action throughout the period of scholarship grant.
        • Must take at least 18 units per semester or as prescribed by the curriculum.
        • Must submit copy of income tax return annually to renew scholarship (not more than PhP1.5M combined family income per year).

        Application Process For Incoming Freshmen

        1. Admissions Executives to inform high school guidance counselors of the scholarship grant. Guidance counselors shall give a list of qualified students to the CSE's. A letter of invitation to apply at Enderun, with the possibility of a scholarship, shall be given by end November.
        2. Criteria for selection:

        3. The Tuason-Zobel Scholarship shall be granted to the top student who applied in the batch. A decision by the Scholarship Committee shall be made by 15 February; confirmation letter sent to the student by end of February.
        4. Scholarship includes 100% deduction on tuition and 75% deduction on miscellaneous fees. All other fees, such as but not limited to uniforms, books and laboratory fees shall be borne by the student.
      4. Andres Soriano III Business Administration Scholarship Grant

        Background

        The Andres Soriano III Business Administration Scholarship Grant is designed to promote career growth and opportunities for the student body. This grant is to recognize and motivate Enderun Colleges' incoming freshmen to begin their higher education with a strong focus on academic excellence and career development.

        Enderun's Scholarship Committee makes the Andres Soriano III Business Administration Scholarship Grant available to deserving students in the BS Business Administration program only. The grant ranges from 10% to 30% off the tuition per year, renewable every year for up to four (4) years.

        Criteria to Qualify

        Andres Soriano III Business Administration Scholarship Grant recipients must show a strong commitment to academic excellence and an enthusiastic attitude towards career development. The three criteria for selection are:

        • High scholastic performance in overall studies (top 25% of the batch).
        • Leadership and organizational skills.
        • High potential to succeed in their chosen careers.

      6. Laurent Plantier Culinary Arts Scholarship Grant

        Background

        The Laurent Plantier Culinary Arts Scholarship Grant is designed to promote career growth and opportunities for the student body. This grant is to recognize and motivate Enderun Colleges' incoming freshmen to begin their higher education with a strong focus on academic excellence and career development.

        Enderun's Scholarship Committee makes the Laurent Plantier Culinary Arts Scholarship Grant available to deserving students in the BS International Hospitality Management, with specialization in Culinary Arts. The grant ranges from 10% to 15% off the tuition per year, renewable every year for up to four (4) years.

        Criteria to Qualify

        Laurent Plantier Culinary Arts Scholarship Grant recipients must show a strong commitment to academic excellence and an enthusiastic attitude towards career development. The three criteria for selection are:

        • High scholastic performance in overall studies (top 25% of the batch).
        • Leadership and organizational skills.
        • High potential to succeed in their chosen careers.

        • Must be an active member of at least one Registered Student Organization (RSO).
        • Must render 180 hours (10 hours per week) of service per semester as a token of giving back to the College.

        Application For Incoming Freshmen

        The Laurent Plantier Culinary Arts Scholarship Grant application forms can be obtained online or from the Admissions Executive. Completed application forms are to be submitted with requirements: essay on "Why I deserve a scholarship" (300 words or less), two (2) academic references from high school teacher and guidance counselor, one (1) 2x2 photo, and parents' ITR (if applying for financial aid).

        Application and complete supporting documents must be submitted to the Admissions Executive on or before 16 January 2015.

        Interview

        The Scholarship Committee may request an interview as part of the final selection process.

        Announcement of Scholarships

        For incoming freshmen, grants may be announced upon acceptance into Enderun Colleges. A notification will be sent to all applicants.
